Coaching Process:
I conduct most of my coaching sessions via the telephone.
Face-to-face sessions are available upon request. The sessions are 30-60 minutes in duration and are paid in advance. You, the client, are responsible for telephone costs to call in for the sessions.
You are in charge of your own destiny, disclosing new concerns, past actions, new goals, techniques you wish to use to accomplish the new goals. Like a fitness coach (who might require a regimen of specific behaviors to help you become a more effective player), I often assign homework, which I hold you accountable to complete as agreed upon.
Each coaching plan includes the development of clear objectives and goals for the coaching process. The phases of the plan are as follows:
Phase 1 - Identify developmental objectives and goals
Phase 2 - Assessment and Gap Analysis.
Phase 3 - Create an overall game plan that establishes goals and an action plan for the coaching process. This personalized action plan is necessary for long-term behavior change and sustainability.
Phase 4 - Conduct coaching sessions and interact via email between the scheduled sessions so the executive/manager feels supported and guided in making the desired changes.
Phase 5 - Implement the required action and changed behavior so that the desired results can be gained. This involves providing the necessary support through consistent follow-up so that progress is made, behavior changed, skills developed, and results gained.
